For the AW11 issue of Belle, we wanted to create a winter wedding special to help brides find inspiration that strays away from the typical Narnia-style winter wonderland theme.
Along with sourcing the best venues for winter romance, we also asked the fabulous Victoria of Your Personal Touch, Charlotte of The Finishing Touch Company and Simply Bows are Chair Covers and Gemma of Love Lily Cakes to come up with a unique yet traditional winter look.
Victoria says: "Books and logs were displayed on the tables to create a warm and cosy feeling next to the Great Hall's beautiful log fire.  The tartan table lining created that extra special Christmas-y feel. A true Charles Dickens ambiance!"
The girls excelled themselves with a Nutcracker-themed reception and ceremony setting in the Great Hall at Jesmond Dene House. If your wedding is coming-up soon, its not too late to add some extra festive finishing touches to the day!
