Our aim as the BIGGEST bridal magazine for the North is to fill our pages with everything our readers need when it comes to wedding inspiration, especially fashion. We love receiving kind words from brides, clients and industry friends, and we saw an overwhelming response to Love In Bloom, a shoot that we dedicated to all the brides and mothers in the region.




The concept behind Love In Bloom was to marry bridal with mother of the bride from major bridal design houses, Grace Philips, House of Mooshki and the award-winning, Ian Stuart.
We coupled the clean and sophisticated gowns of Grace Philips with the brand new mother of the bride attire from House of Mooshki. These pieces from the brand new occasion wear collection, La Dolce Vita, encapsulates the Mooshki ethos - including timeless styles and hand crafted designs - with a touch of sass and attitude.
We then showcased the award-winning mother of the bride collection from Ian Stuart with his iconic bridal designs. The new mother of the bride collection, Move Over Darling Hi Season, is inspired by the aspirational jet set lifestyle - echoing the times of Jackie O in Monaco and Brigitte in St Tropez. "The glamour, the style and the luxury of those times inspired me to create this collection," said Ian.
We chose the light, open spaces of Saltmarshe Hall to complement the fresh, contemporary look we wanted to achieve. The Celebration Suite made for the perfect backdrop with its neutral tones and touches of modernity. With a minimal setting, we used blooms and statement accessories to accentuate both the intricate detailing and the simplistic design of the gowns.




For make-up we took inspiration from the runways at #BBFW18 where neon eyeliner carved a look that demanded attention and gave elegant gowns some serious attitude.
