DATE 11 December 2019

700 years of romantic and grandeur memories surround Ripley Castle’s botanic grounds. Belle Bridal took to the location to shoot the designs by Elbeth Gillis, capturing the bridal bliss that is the iconic collection. Located in the scenic Yorkshire town of Harrogate, Ripley Castle offers both intimate and striking grounds. The perfect original and enchanting venue to say, “I do”.
Offering up more than just your typical castle, this venue is home to the Hot House. An incredible urban backdrop to not only savour professional imagery from your special day, but also insta-worthy snaps to show off your edgy cool, nuptials.

The curve hugging Madison Gown is ideal for the fashion-forward bride, the bride who likes to accessorise and make the look her own. A mixture of crepe and satin with alternating panels of V-cut seams, the Madison is both classic and completely different.

The Madison gown is styled perfectly with the V-neck Ivory Cardigan, constructed out of mohair and silk from the chic Arnison Blue Collection. Use this to throw onto any outfit, as Gillis says “for those in-between moments” To complete the modern bride, the feature is finished with Halo and Co Earrings.

For the whimsical, boho bride, the Elsa Tulle Skirt is the volume and drama that every bohemian wife-to-be needs for their day. Paired with the Tina Bodysuit from the Arnison Blue Collection, reuse this look at a later date, for a sustainable, free-spirited flavour.

The creative director and stylist Karen Bell, uses her innovative skills to execute this bespoke outfit by using the Contessa Crystal Headpiece as a choker, for that alternative spectacle.
For another reusable fashion wonder, the ivory cardigan also pairs beautifully with the Fabiana Ostrich Skirt, for the quirky bride who doesn’t mind showing there mid-rift.

Featuring a small train and an A-line silhouette, the Fabiana has authentic ostrich feathers moulded together for a textured line.

If you’re caught between wanting to be a realbride and having that edgy non-bridal look, then the Margarita veil is the perfect mix of both. Made from embroidered tulle and delicate silk, shock guests with a drape of daisies.
