This recent styled shoot, coordinated by Amy Bailey, founder of wedding planning business Amy Lauren Weddings, demonstrates how couples can combat this common conundrum with a sweetheart table – a small table set up for just the bride & groom.

Focussed around beauty, glamour, intimacy and sweet solitude, the shoot at Leadenham Estate highlights the beauty and appeal of a sweetheart table as an amazing alternative to a traditional top table, showing the couple together, sharing intimate moments that are sometimes lost when shared on a traditional top table.

“The sweetheart table is one of my favourite ‘go-to’ golden tips as it means separating yourselves from the situation and avoiding any awkward decisions on who does and doesn’t sit on the top table with you,” advises Amy.
