Growing up and growing curvier, Aimee struggled to find clothes that fit her figure. Having tried various corsets she found online or on the high street to no avail, she recognised there was a gap in the market for a luxury, high-end corset that brides felt comfortable in – and thus, Corsetry and Couture was born.
After studying the skills and techniques of corsetry at the prestigious London College of Fashion, Aimee used her wealth of expertise to hand-craft corsets for her own business to suit every shape and size.
Today, Corsetry and Couture is the north’s go-to for luxury bespoke corsets, all fronted by this creative corset connoisseur.
Corsets are something that I’ve always had an interest in, the shape they give the wearer, their beautiful silhouette in general and the skills that go into creating them.

Beautifully Bespoke, Beautifully You: All of Aimee’s garments are designed and created for each individual customer.
Made in their north east workshop, each bespoke garment in made to their client’s specifications – design, fabric, colour – everything is done exactly as the client wishes.
But the one thing each corset or gown has in common is the luxury feel. The bones are either solid or spiral steel with solid metal busks to ensure maximum support, and each corset is hand-finished to the very finest of standards.
