INTRODUCTION

Mark your marriage with a special piece of jewellery designed to last. That’s what’s available at Iain Henderson Designs – a bespoke handcrafted jewellers in Bingley, West Yorkshire, specialising in engagement rings, wedding rings and remodelling old jewellery.

Boasting over 40 years of combined experience in the jewellery trade, Iain and his dedicated craftsmen will work with you to offer you extensive knowledge and advice on the right metals, stones and fits to ensure you leave with a perfect piece, bespoke to you.

 Get to know Iain:

 

Iain has always been fascinated by design, encouraged by his family who had a keen interest in the restoration of car and motorbike engines. This early introduction give Iain a crucial understanding of mechanics, metals and the processes of engineering.

Working with engines and metalwork was such an important foundation in what Iain has built today with Iain Henderson Designs (IHD).  It takes a lifetime of experience with metals, commitment to quality, and a love for finding solution that creates the detailed and intricate jewellery he makes.

 

 

After studying Jewellery Making at Bradford College Iain went straight to Sheffield University to gain his Silversmith degree.

The rapid purchase of his early creations gave Iain the confidence to launch his own collections and in 1996, IHD was born. Evolving over time Iain now works directly with his customers offering the most unique and personal jewellery pieces.

The IHD Experience:

At IHD it is all about the service – away from the hustle and bustle of the high street shops, IHD’s purpose-built studio is a serene space where you can truly relax and explore your jewellery dreams.

The ambience of the studio is a quiet and relaxing environment where Iain communicates one to one as a jewellery designer, not as a sales person.

Iain offers a wide range of jewellery services, so much so you will never have to go anywhere else! His repertoire includes but is not exclusive to - engagement rings, wedding rings, CAD design and jewellery remodelling.

Really easy, great service and a fantastic end product from Iain. I was set on particular materials and after an initial chat on design and the implications of using said materials we agreed on a design. Logistically especially with the pandemic it wasn't possible to visit Iain but it made no difference we shared pictures via whatsapp before agreeing on the design and then 5/6 weeks later it arrived! Couldn't be happier with hte ring. I would highly recommend.

Recently had a bespoke wedding ring made and am so happy with the results. Being on the other side of the country it wasn’t possible to visit the studio but after chatting to Iain and trading photos we came up with a design. I was then sent a set of sizing rings close to what I thought the correct size was for me and the end result after everything is a perfectly fitting bespoke ring that suits me perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend everytime!

He talked me through the whole process of creating my bespoke wedding ring and gave me lots of different options on how to best customise it. Having obtained other quotes from other jewellery makers his prices were extremely competitive and being able to take advantage of the 0% finance was an added bonus. I would definitely reach out to Iain again should I want any more bespoke pieces making! Extremely happy with the finished product. Would highly recommend!!!
