INTRODUCTION
Having grown up in Derbyshire, lived and worked in the USA and Sweden, married a Swede and now back close to her roots, living in Yorkshire, Kirsty Mattsson has seen it all. But nothing quite sets her world alight than seeing two people in love tie the knot. This award-winning Yorkshire snapper has a natural ability to pause a moment in time and capture it incredibly, leaving couples
with everlasting memories of the most precious moments from their big day. It all began on her 21st birthday when a SLR camera as a present lit a passion for photography, and since then, she has honed her years of practice into a burgeoning wedding photography portfolio, crammed at the seams with stylish, colourful images of people in love – because that is exactly what she loves.
If you’re looking for light, love-struck, storytelling images, you’ve come to the right profile. Kirsty Mattsson is an esteemed Yorkshire wedding photographer with a wealth of snapping talent at her fingertips, creative enough to find the angles, and caring enough to make them represent you in all your unfiltered glory.
Natural, Documentary Style Storytelling
A wedding takes so much preparation but passes by so fast. This is why it is so important to capture the energy, interactions and emotion in all those unique moments that occur throughout the day. Utilising her years of experience, Kirsty’s documentary style means she’s not interested in fake grins or posing people. Her hands-off, unobtrusive approach to capturing all those moments, details, emotions and personalities that make your day so special to you, is what will have you remembering the quaint details for years to come.

EVERY WEDDING IS DIFFERENT AND I CONSIDER IT VERY IMPORTANT TO CAPTURE THE PERSONALITY AND ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR UNIQUE DAY.
KIRSTY
Creative, Unposed Couple Portraits
Spending around 15-30 minutes on the day directing you in a very natural way for a few creative, high-impact portraits, Kirsty keeps this part of the day brief so you don’t have to spend too long away from your guests. Natural and unposed, you can feel comfortable in front of the camera and truly embrace that just married glow.
Dreamy Scenes:
Scenery, landscapes, colour and beautiful light, nothing is off limits with this sharp shooter, resulting in vibrant, dynamic portraits that reflect the time and place you were married in.

I’LL HAPPILY FOLLOW YOU UP A MOUNTAIN TO GET THE SHOT, I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS!
KIRSTY
Stress-Free Wedding Photography
It is always Kirsty’s goal to make sure her couples are completely comfortable being photographed. Taking time to connect with each of her couples and giving them a relaxed and stress-free experience, the whole process is fun and laid-back making sure she gets the shots you want.
If you feel particularly camera-shy, her relaxed, one-hour pre-wedding shoots give you the opportunity to see how she works and get used to being in front of the camera. Picture that, all set for your big day with no worries about the photography? That's one worry chalked off the wedmin list...

REVIEWS
Our photographs were the BEST documentary of our day, from bridal party pictures to captured moments and details, Kirsty photographed it all. All I can say is…. Kirsty was everything and more that we had hoped for, we truly cannot recommend her enough.
Mary & Nige
What is so perfect about Kirsty as a wedding photographer is that she can be relied upon to get stunning “centre piece” couple shots, which are interesting, artistic and absolutely beautiful, but she also captures the wonderful (and funny) natural moments throughout the day. We will be recommending far and wide. Thanks so much Kirsty!
