STORY OF THE SHOOT...
An ethereal dream embellished with ruffles of tulle and dusty mauve tones, this shoot curated by fashion consultant Joanna Southwell and shot by Sarah Brookes Photography is just magic! Located in the stunning grounds of Waresley Park Estate, the shoot encapsulates the drama and depth of the details that you can still create with smaller, intimate nuptials.
Transported to an enchanted forest Waresley’s secret gardens acted as Joanna’s playground for this shoot, with a backdrop of weeping willows and fir trees creating an abundance of texture and colour. A sumptuous flower arch of greenery with splashes of lilac and pink hues by Louise Langdon Florals at the base of the pond, created the alter for Purity and Eliot’s whimsical ceremony.
Erected on the lawn, the reception marquee totally compliments the natural bohemian vibe of the day. With a stunning pink, ivory and gold tablescape littered with warm toned candles and cascading florals, the tent's clear sides offer a 360-degree panoramic view of the gardens, bringing the lustre of the surrounding woodland in.
WE PACKED IN THE TEXTURE OF THIS SHOOT TO ADD INTEREST AND DEPTH, SHOWING THAT YOU CAN CREATE ATMOSPHERE FOR WEDDINGS EVEN WITH SMALL GUEST NUMBERS.

The bridalwear is where the magic really happened with this shoot and we are obsessed with all three of the looks created. To compliment the beauty of the ceremony settings Joanna and the creative team started with a grand tulle lilac gown by Millia London accessorised with a pearl veil, necklace and vintage earings.

For the second, fashion forward look, Purity wore a full skirt, crop top and organza blouse from Faye Victoria Bridal finished with an oversized contemporary bow veil, with the gorgeous model’s hair let down in Hollywood waves, this look oozes all the glamour.
Tailored to compliment the surroundings, the groom wore layered neutral outfits.
WITH BROWN VELVET, POLO NECKS AND A PEARL NECKLACE, WE CURATED OUTFITS THAT COMPLIMENTED BOTH PURITY'S OUTFITS AND THE GREENERY OUTSIDE

Shot both inside and outside on the road leading to the Estate, these intimate shots are perfectly framed by the natural archway created by grounds.
BY USING A VENUE WITH SO MUCH COLOUR, DEPTH AND CHARACTER, THE PHOTOS SHOW THAT A SMALL WEDDING CAN STILL LOOK GRAND AND IMPRESSIVE.
