We are delighted to be able to showcase the following photoshoot by a group of highly talented florists and wedding creatives.

The results are absolutely stunning and provide serious inspiration for our Belle Bridal readers…

The Brief:

“This was a photoshoot workshop for our flower school; we took the lead and worked as a team to create this fabulous spring wedding inspiration” Sarah – Leafy Couture

Styling and Inspiration:

“We wanted to convey a sense of playful, whimsical spring. We chose to use vibrant spring tones to give an uplifting feel to the day and created towering columns of blooms as a backdrop, contrasting with the rustic metal and stone features in the venue.

Staggeringly beautiful roses and seasonal ranunculus, tulips and blossom were the focus. The bridal aesthetic needed to be young, fresh and glamorous, the perfect contrast to the rustic wild foliages of the columns.”

“We used roses, poppies, ranunculus, lissianthus, delphinium, viburnum oculus, hellebore, Veronica, double tulips, pussy willow and astrantia to create the arrangements.”

“The cake by Poppy Pickering was an absolute showstopper and deserved a fabulous setting. We wanted to accent the details of the cake; therefore we chose to use lots of green foliages to make a giant wreath, keeping the tones neutral so the sugar flowers would stand out.”

“The tablescape was dreamy with macarons and cake lollipops sat in gold rimmed glassware and the prettiest floral crockery. We created several layers of florals with punch bowls over flowing, votives and pretty ceramic egg cups.

Flower heads were scattered among the table creating that perfect pretty spring ambience. Candles were lit in votives and brass candlesticks were dressed in shades of dusky pink and lilac.”

“The place names and menus were gold leaf in a wax seal to compliment the gold crockery and glassware. We created opulent, flowing chair backs so the table was awash with whimsical beauty.”

Belle Loves:

Spring palettes are just the prettiest aren’t they? Floral and styling mastery at its very finest - we absolutely adore the undone perfection of this photoshoot.
