The Story of the Shoot
With the easing of restrictions, May was a mark-making month for our industry.
And, with a push towards positivity came a wave of creative shoots from suppliers clubbing their heads together to excite and inspire their couples on the route back to normality.
One of which was this vibrant, uplifting showcase at Skitby House, put together by manager Katherine and photographer Peter Ostrowski and styled fabulously by Carlisle Guest List supplier Roses and Hearts Events.
Frankly, this shoot is serving just what we need as summer freedoms draw ever closer – free-spirited, laid lack luxe with extra helpings of happiness.

Purple Power
“Karen From Roses and Hearts Events brought along some fabulous accessories.
For table décor we used gold rimmed glass charger plates, a mixture of gold rimmed tea light holders and crystal candlesticks along with a soft lilac table runner. We were also creative with lots of other added accessories."
Sweet like Lilac
CAKE TASTIC:
The cake from Cakes by Alison Fawkes really highlighted the colour scheme with lilac and white icing, gold geometric line and some stunning sugar crafted flowers.
Luxe Details
Mia Bridal provided the perfect bridal wear combo – a lovely floaty skirt and lace top by Catherine Deane, with the added luxury of an Anna Kara gown.
Lots of lavender, a subtle hint of a dusky pink, and greenery helped to create spellbinding floral styling, courtesy of Holly Hock.
