Sam proposed to Louise overlooking Sydney harbour bridge in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit. While they were forced to wait over two years for their special celebration, it was everything this lovestruck couple had dreamed of, gathering their precious friends and family in the relaxed elegance of The Willows at the Woodmans.
Channeling a light, bright and airy aesthetic, Sam and Louise opted for a traditional white and green palette with beautiful fresh florals and foliage. The mastermind responsible was Rachael of Jasmine and Pear – a north east based florist with a real eye for sustainable botanicals. Sourced responsibly from local growers, Rachael’s arrangements are a celebration of natural beauty with dreamy eucalyptus and gorgeous ranunculus making up Louise’s bouquet.

Louise was so enamoured by her blooms that she has had her bridal bouquet dried and pressed to keep as a memento of her special day.
THEY REALLY ARE THE FLOWERS THAT JUST KEEP GIVING. I PLAN TO HOLD ONTO THEM FOR YEARS TO COME.

ENZOANI ELEGANCE
When it came to her dress Louise made a b-line for Belle Bridal Signature Stockist and Guest List boutique, The Wedding Dress Company in Corbridge. And, how many brides can say they said yes to the first dress they tried on?
This was the case for Louise whose heart was stolen with this gorgeously regal Enzoani number – a full sleeved, illusion neckline with gorgeous lace detailing. She finished the look with a draping veil to match and beautifully refined hair and makeup.

Did you throw the bouquet?
Yes, one lucky single girl caught it! Fingers crossed for another wedding in the near future!
How did you feel as you walked down the aisle?
Happiness level 100, it was amazing to see all our lovely family and friends in one room, especially after the past two years!
Out of 10, how involved was your partner in the planning process? (answer honestly!)
10! Everything was a 50/50 decision – or at least I think it was!
What’s your funniest memory from the day?
Hearing my little cousin Sonny yawn during the ceremony as we were saying our vows!
