One swipe right later and a first date that started with sneaking into a club, Bryony and Natasha knew they’d met their partner in crime. Turning up the romance to pop the question, Bryony proposed to Natasha not in a club but a cinema instead, surrounded by family and friends who’d made their own movie of messages of congratulations. Where do we sign up for that?

THE VENUE

After giving themselves a three-year deadline to plan every last detail of their big day, there was one thing that Natasha and Bryony were set on from the start – they wanted rustic.

With a barn aesthetic in mind, Bryony and Natasha visted Doxford Barns and it was love at first sight. With its dramatic lofted ceilings, statement chandeliers wrapped in a sea of foliage and characterful exposed brick walls, the Threshing Barn was the perfect place for this duo to tie the knot.

Despite four rearranged dates, Bryony and Faye’s infatuation with their venue stood the test of time and specifically, a pandemic,  celebrating  their would-have-been date with a romantic picnic in the grounds.

PASTEL IN THE FRONT, PARTY IN THE BACK

Keeping the rustic theme running throughout, Bryony and Natasha separated their bridesmaids into two colours, opting for light and airy pasel tones that perfectly complimented the neutral aesthetic of their venue.

WE HAD ALCOHOL MINIS AS FAVOURS AND ON THE EVENING WE HAD LOTS OF DRINKING GAMES SET UP ON THE TABLES AND ROUND THE VENUE.
