Opting for a Northumberland countryside setting, this picturesque venue, Charlton Hall, offered the nuptials an exclusive day they would cherish for the rest of their lives.

When Amber and Jonathan returned home from nine months of travelling, they quickly realised they were meant to be together forever. 

Their romantic winter wedding, which they set about planning, called for one thing and that was of course a subtle touch of Christmas spirit!

Captivating Charlton Hall:

Tucked away in picturesque surroundings, Charlton Hall is set amidst a private 150-acre estate with coastal views and luxurious spaces.

Everyone commented on how quirky it was and how each room was totally different.”

Twinkling fairy lights adorned every inch of Charlton Hall’s ceremony room. With a leafy green backdrop and perspex chairs Amber and Jonathan fell in love all over again with this enchanting and magical fairytale venue.

Their Christmas theme decorated the tables of the reception room with sweet mince pies, gingerbread men and baubles used as place names.

A Watters Wedding:

With a ballgown dress in mind, Amber felt disheartened when she didn’t like a single dress in the style she had imagined.

Reluctant to try on any more, Amber’s sister chose a fitted, lace dress at the very last minute.

“I didn’t like the style at all however I put the dress on and instantly burst out crying - I absolutely loved it and decided it was the one there and then.” - Amber

Stepping out in a Wtoo Watters gown, the inimitable lace detailing provided a glamorous touch while the streamlined silhouette created a timeless elegance.

The Bride’s Advice:

“We loved having a ‘sweetheart table’ instead of the traditional top table. This meant Jonathan and I could sit on our own for our first meal as a married couple.”
