“It felt like a fairytale.” – Ashley

Ashley and Mitchell’s love story began when they first met at work. Just three years later, their relationship took to the next level when Mitchell proposed on a remote beach, under the sunset in Thailand – how romantic!

The couple has always dreamed of having a wanderlust wedding abroad and knew that the stunning island of Cyprus would be the perfect place to tie the knot. After visiting TUI, they booked their dream wedding and soon jetted off to the picture-perfect coast of Paphos.

The Venue:

Aptly named after the Goddess of love, the Aphrodite Hills Hotel provided a nuptial setting surrounded by romance. 

Overlooking the glistening Mediterranean Sea, this beautiful wedding venue created an intimate ambience with exceptional views, for the most important day of Ashley and Mitchell's lives.

Enamoured by the idea of saying their vows outdoors, and with a garden theme in mind, Ashley and Mitchell fell in love with the twinkling fairy lights and birdcages which decorated the venue. 

The Dress:

Susan's Bridal Boutique was the first shop Ashley visited, with her mam. The first three dresses she tried on were all stunningly designed, but it wasn't until Susan presented Ashley with a gown that she found "the one."

The beautiful bride wore a gorgeous a-line gown with scattered intricate embellishments and v-neck. Ashley’s dress was enhanced with lace applique and complemented by her blush coloured bridesmaids’ dresses.

The Bride’s Advice:

“Don’t stress over the small things and don’t panic if you don’t see the venue until you get there – wedding planners have been doing this long enough to remove that stress.

Enjoy it, it really is the best day of your lives and goes by too quick.”
