BALTIC: A Chic And City Wedding For Alex And Jack
Surrounded by family, friends and panoramic views of Newcastle’s Quayside and beyond, Alexandra and Jack tied the knot inside the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on the 11th November 2017.
“We loved that the venue overlooked the landmarks of Newcastle. The natural light and views of the quayside guaranteed beautiful scenes regardless of the weather. We would definitely recommend it to other couples.”
This ultra modern venue offers contemporary elegance suited to the theme the couple had envisaged.
“We wanted a central location in Newcastle as we had a lot of guests travelling for the wedding. We wanted something a bit different and fell in love with the contemporary and unique style of the venue.”
Pastel bouquets and soft textures added elements of romance throughout the decor, which only added to the loving atmosphere that surrounded Alex and Jack. The finishing touches and beautiful moments shine through the images captured by Dan McCourt.
“Dan was recommended through a friend and he was also the photographer for our friend's wedding earlier in the year. Dan's style really stood out - we loved the editorial feel to his photos and when we met in person, it sealed the deal.”
What was your highlight of the day?
"Being able to celebrate our love with our friends and family. We were lucky enough to have friends travel from Australia, Canada, London, Denmark and France to be there for our special day. This truly meant the world to us."
Advice for other brides and grooms?
"Plan in advance. We only gave ourselves 10 months to fully plan everything and we also moved house during this time - not recommended!"
