Black Horse Beamish: A Magical Marquee Celebration For Fay And Christopher
Childhood sweethearts, Fay and Christopher, tied the knot in front of family and friends on the 5th January 2018. Michael Southwick captured this stunning celebration, set against the picturesque backdrop of The Orchard Marquee at The Black Horse Beamish.
“We met as children at Christmas parties due to our families being friends, then got together years later after meeting on a night out.”
“I wanted the day to be magical and be something my late mam would of loved; a celebration, a party and a day filled with happiness and love. A day I never want to forget.”
The couple celebrated their love with a vintage theme complete with ivory roses and navy blue accents.
“We initially wanted something vintage and rustic, but we decided to go and have a look at the marquee after being unable to find something we loved. When we first walked in it took my breath away: the views and the layout were stunning. The staff were so helpful so we knew straight away it was our venue.”
“It was perfect, the day went without a hitch. Everything was perfectly timed and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Every guest commented on how amazing the food was and how stunning the venue was, we didn’t want it to end.”
The day was complete with fish and chips, fun and laughter and a quick stop at the cash point for the groom and best man.
“My husband and best man had to get the wedding car to take them to Asda on the way as they had no money, so the two of them pulled up at Asda in a white Ford Mustang in suits to get money.”
