Friends and family gathered at Eslington Villa to celebrate Kate and Liam’s wedding day. The couple wanted a day that reflected them, and after choosing a selection of themes, they finally decided on white, blush and rose gold.

Liam proposed to Katie at a Courteeners' gig at Heaton Park, which is Katie’s favourite band. The couple knew that they wanted to say "I do" at Gibside church followed by a reception at Eslington Villa, as Katie use to visit the venue when she was a little girl. “We’d most definitely recommend this venue to other couples, as we wanted something a little different and Eslington Villa was just the perfect choice.”

 

Katie wore a gorgeous Martina Liana gown from Mia Sposa, “I saw my dress at a wedding fair on a Mia Sposa stand and I knew instantly I wanted that one! I did try on others, but I knew this one was mine straightaway.”

Advice for other brides and grooms when it comes to wedding planning?
“Try not to get stress and for it to take over your life!”

What was your highlight of the day?
“Actually getting married in Gibside church! It was a dream!”
