Healey Barn: A Woodland Romance For These Nature Lovers
Caragh and Ben are huge nature lovers, so wanted their love of the outdoors to reflect in their big day. This is why they chose the stunning setting of Healey Barn, which is surrounded by mile of rolling countryside and gorgeous greenry, and had an owl deliver the rings.

“We are both quite relaxed and did not want anything OTT. We just wanted everyone to be comfortable and have a great time. We are both nature lovers so wanted to reflect this.
“We knew we wanted a barn venue. We only saw one other venue before Healey Barn. As soon as we walked in we loved it and had to reserve the day there and then. I would definitely recommend the venue, the staff were incredibly accommodating, the communication was great and everyone who came commented on how beautiful the venue was.”

Caragh and Ben first met in school. “We were in the same friendship group at school. Ben did his gap year in Japan and the week he got back we met up for a camping trip and we have been together since, which has been 10 years!”
Like all brides-to-be, Caragh already had an idea of her dream wedding and was just waiting for Ben to pop the question. “I absolutely loved it (planning the wedding). We got engaged in Japan and before we left I had already done quite a lot of planning. We have been together for 10 years, so I already had ideas. I had booked and planned everything within three months. I loved every second of planning the wedding.”

Caragh looked absolutely stunning in her Rolling In Rose gown from Glory Days. “I was really dreading the dress shopping, I have recently just lost a lot of weight (almost four stone) and was still struggling with my confidence. I loved every second of it. Glory Days were really accommodating and I couldn’t help falling in love with my dress as soon as I saw it.”

How did you choose your photographer?
“We researched lots of photographers. We wanted to find a photographer who got us. We wanted photos that would stand the test of time and still look classic in years to come. As soon as we met Camilla we could see how much she loved her job and she made us feel so relaxed and her photos are beautiful.”

Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Love every second and don’t stress, the most important thing is that you get to marry the love of your life.”
What was your highlight of the day?
“The highlight was definitely was the owl delivering the wedding rings!”
