Do you believe in love at first sight? We do. It's that special moment when two soul mates finally find one another, and it's exactly how Danielle and Dean felt when they first met. The couple first laid eyes on one another at a party and the pair have barely spent a day apart since! “We work together and live together and he’s still my best friend, I couldn't imagine my life without him.”

The two tied the knot surrounded by family and friends in front of the charming backdrop of Linden Hall.

“We were on our way to Rothbury for the day and had been engaged for about one month at the time. We were driving past Linden Hall and Dean just turned in last minute. As we were driving up the driveway we both had goosebumps, we ended up going in to just look around and both fell in love. We booked our wedding there and then for 10 months time. It was the most impulsive decision we've ever made! We hadn’t even spoken about any venues or when we would get married, but after looking around it just felt like the right thing to do.”

“I would definitely recommend the venue to other brides even though it rained all day on our wedding day and we missed out on some of the photos in the grounds it is such a beautiful venue.”

How did you choose your photographer?

“It was an easy choice; in fact, there was no choice I didn't even look at any others. The photos were probably the most important things to me, even more important than my dress. I had seen Jamie’s work popping up at so many weddings of people that I knew and fell in love with the style of photography. Jamie's photos are so natural and not the standard posed photos that aren’t for me at all! He captures the smallest details that you would never remember without those photos, I can't even tell you how many times we have watched the slideshow he made with all of our photos. Everyone at the wedding commented on Jamie and how brilliant he was. I even sat him on a table with our friends for the wedding breakfast because he was like one of our guests. Our daughters still ask when they can see Jamie again as he made them all laugh and feel at ease all day. I cannot recommend him highly enough.”

Advice for other brides and grooms?

“Yes, don’t stress about little details too much- none of that matters on the day. All that matters is that you are marrying your best friend. I was such a laid back bride, even on the morning of the wedding I was so calm, and I feel that the full experience of planning the wedding was enjoyable and not at all stressful.”

“We went on our Honeymoon to Dubai and Sri Lanka the next day and I wish we had made that a few days later. We didn't get a chance to take it all in and look through our cards etc. so maybe book your honeymoon for a few days after the wedding at least.”

What was your highlight of the day?

“I have been trying to think of one highlight in particular but I simply cannot pick one moment from the day. The full day from start to finish was just truly magical, I wish we could do it all again!”
