"Marry Me?" in Miami, Tabitha Willet and Fraser Carruthers' Holiday Engagement

DATE

A romantic getaway to Miami soon became one of the most important trips of former Made in Chelsea star Tabitha Willet when boyfriend Fraser proposed to her on their first evening during a meal at the luxurious Casa Tua.

Famous for being JLo’s favourite restaurant the exclusive restaurant is cocooned by tall hedges which wrap around the typical art deco South Beach building, offering an interlude from paparazzi and the outside world.

As the couple sat down at their table Fraser immediately ordered two glasses of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc. The waiter had barely put the glasses down on the table before Fraser had pulled out his chair and gotten down on one knee.

Instead of proposing a toast, Tabitha’s soon to be fiancé simply proposed to the soundtrack to ‘You Look Wonderful Tonight’ by Eric Clapton as it played from the trees overhead.

“I cried and hugged him and said of course!” – Tabitha

Our Little Secret

Although Tabitha and Fraser were of course excited to announce their engagement, they set aside the rest of the evening just for the two of them; setting aside their phones to enjoy this moment to themselves.

The rest of the night passed by with love, laughter and copious amounts of champagne and decadent white truffles… totalling a bill of £600… you do only get engaged once though right?

The Ring

The next morning jet lag woke the happy couple up at 5am and headed down to the beach to watch the sunrise together. Seeing her ring for the first time in the daylight Tabitha fell in love all over again with how the 3.2 carat pear cut ring from Eden Ricks Diamonds twinkled with the sunrise and the sea.

“The rest of the holiday was spent in total bliss with our little daughter Ottilie.” – Tabitha
