The enchanting melody and beautiful lyrics of the iconic song “Moon River” would bring the hopeless romantic out in even the most pragmatic of souls. For Grace and Scott, Moon River will forever be their song – a jazz player was performing it as they got engaged at the Empire State building, looking out over New York City, and it was their first dance at their stunning wedding, performed beautifully by maid of honour, Samantha Barks.

No attention to detail was spared on Grace and Scott’s day, choosing a sophisticated nude colour palette and fresh botanical theme with rose gold accents, perfectly in keeping with the charming surroundings of Middleton Lodge, in Richmond.

The couple exchanged their own vows in a beautifully moving outdoor ceremony on the lawn, before canapés in the drawing room of the 18th century country house, followed by a marquee reception, fireworks, dancing in the cellar bar until 3am and plenty of fizz.

Grace and Scott choose Stan Seaton and his wife, Jane, to capture their special day. “Jane and Stan took honest and real photos that captured the day better than we could have imagined. They took our ‘look’ and everything on board that we wanted; it was a dream day, with dream pictures to have as memories for life.”

“Seeing everyone’s faces as we turned back down the aisle once married was very special. The whole day was perfect.”

The Bride’s Words of Wisdom:
“Take time throughout the day with your new husband to step back, pause for a second and take it all in. Look at everything you have planned and created; enjoy the beauty of the best day of your life. We did this and we felt that the day didn’t go too fast and we fully enjoyed every moment.”
