Newton Hall: A Romantic Celebration For Greg And Chris
Greg and Chris first met each other when working at Satchi Hair Salon, and then during Christmas in 2012 Greg popped the question. For the proposal, Greg hid the ring inside a HUGE box, so big that Chris actually thought it was a joke present when he received it. When Chris had finally unwrapped it and arrived at a small box, Greg took it from him and got down on one knee.

Fast-forward to 2017 and Greg and Chris celebrated their dream wedding with their nearest and dearest in the stunning setting of Newton Hall. “We wanted a really relaxed day, which is why we choose Newton Hall because it wasn’t traditional and had a very quirky feel which we both loved. We both got ready together on the morning, which was great and we think it helped to make the day feel more relaxed.”

“We visited Newton Hall in total about three times. We had been to a wedding before at Newton Hall and loved it, but went to view it a few more times just to be sure. It was clear Newton Hall was always going to be our venue for our wedding day.”

Would you recommend the venue to future couples?
“In a heart beat!!! They run everything like clockwork and create such a relaxed atmosphere. The big selling point to us was it was ours for the entire day, we loved that it was a blank canvas with quirky features that we could create our dream wedding in.”

RGMphoto captured Greg and Chris’s wedding day. “We met with a few different photographers, who had photographed friends weddings and we just didn’t click with them until we met with Ross from RGMphoto. Straight away he made us feel at ease, he was amazing during the entire day and kept every one very calm and captured the day perfectly.”

Advice for other couples?
“Take time to make your decisions. Make sure it’s what you want and your not doing things to suit other people. The only thing we regret is not getting it recorded, everyone says the day goes so fast that we wish we had videoed it to see the moments we missed.”
