Nestled within landscaped grounds this beautifully restored boutique hotel, The Woodlands, promised the most magical backdrop for Sophie and Nathan’s wonderland wedding.

 

The couple became more than just friends when they met at school back in 2011. Just five years later Nathan proposed in their home and of course Sophie instantly said yes!

Whimsical Woodlands:

The elegant setting and magnificent interiors made The Woodlands Hotel the picture-perfect place for Sophie and Nathan to tie the knot.

 
Sophie – “I would definitely recommend the venue to other couples. When we looked round The Woodlands Hotel I knew instantly that I had found the perfect place.
 

The marquee was especially stunning - I pictured myself getting married there and that was the selling point that none of the other venues had.”

Just like their proposal, Sophie and Nathan dreamt of having a subtle Alice in Wonderland theme throughout their wedding day. The blue and yellow accents scattered throughout and stacked teacups with added wild flowers, allowed them to create the ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ vibe, which they loved.

Blushing Bride:

It matched exactly to the image I had in my head and fit perfectly with the whimsical theme of the wedding – I never wanted to take it off. “ - Sophie

 

Sophie walked the aisle in a beautiful blush gown with ivory overlay. This full-length, A-line gown featured signature lace detailing and a stunning sweetheart neckline, fit for a princess.

The Bride’s Advice:

“Just enjoy it! The day goes by so fast and before you know it, it’s over so take the time to just stand back and appreciate the day.
