Woodhill Hall: Hayley and Jamie’s Elegant and Romantic Happily Ever After
“It suddenly hit me that we were married and I began to cry!”
Set in the heart of Northumberland, this detached Georgian country manor, Woodhill Hall, was perfect for Hayley and Jamie’s picture perfect wedding day.
Surrounded by 100 acres of private woodland and meadow, this hidden gem promised the couple a stunning backdrop with added character and charm.
After Hayley and Jamie’s whirlwind romance began on a night out, their relationship took to the next level, when Jamie proposed at a Lake District cottage.
Capturing their special day was Peter Robinson, who photographed all of their special memories, which the couple will cherish forever.
The Venue:
The outdoor ceremony created the spring wedding they had only ever dreamt of. The reception room was filled with shabby chic table settings, complementing the intertwined ivory leaves and small fairy lights perfectly.
“The venue is so quirky and has so many areas to explore, you think you’ve seen it all when you walk out onto the terrace from the orangery but then you discover the elephant courtyard, the tepee and the secret bar!
The staff there are simply amazing and so attentive, special thanks to Sarah for looking after us so well throughout the process.
I knew from the minute we drove up the romantic tree-lined drive, Woodhill Hall would hold a special place in my heart,” Hayley reflected.
The Dress:
Hayley said: “I took my mam and my four bridesmaids along with me and together we picked six dresses, all different styles and fittings.
I knew when I put my dress on that it was the one for me; I got teary eyed and thought about how perfect it was for the venue.”
Hayley’s stunning figure hugging, Sottero and Midgley gown, was made complete with the intricate lace detailing, low cut back and elegant v-neck. The sheer patterned skirt and lace straps added sophistication and beauty - it was everything Hayley had envisioned, and more.
The Bride’s Advice:
“Try your best to make time for each other throughout the day and have ten minutes out with a glass of champagne and your canapé’s otherwise you’ll not get to taste them!
Enjoy absolutely every moment because it truly is the most amazing day ever.”
