And the dreamy backdrops don’t end once inside – from its eclectically decorated entrance hall, right through to the intimate wood-panelled dining room and elegantly restored historic chapel, its playful mix of old-world charm and modern-day luxury make it the ideal setting for a wonderful wedding.
This fairytale venue specialises in two-night, exclusive weddings, meaning the entire wedding party are invited to a sensational staycation. Guests staying for the weekend will receive evening food the night before the big day, cooked by Ellingham’s multi-award winning culinary team, as well as a first-class breakfast each morning. When couples aren’t busy tying the knot, the venue’s drinking terraces and eclectic underground games room provide entertainment for all ages in a chic setting, before retiring to one of the seventeen opulent bedrooms, including two beautiful bridal suites – one of which boasts a rooftop Jacuzzi!
A Sensational Ceremony: Ellingham Hall’s bespoke wedding service is as flexible as it is dedicated. Brides can make a show-stopping entrance by gliding down the grand staircase, before reciting their vows in front of the commanding feature fireplace in either an intimate ceremony in the rich-panelled Ceremony Room, or the striking Chapel.
Alternatively, weather permitting, a ceremony within the Hall’s grounds allows for an incomparable backdrop.
Insta-Worthy Moments: From the panoramic views afforded by the Chapel patio to the iconic window centrepiece at the top of the stairs, there’s a Pinterest-deserving shot at every turn.
Wined and Dined: Sip on champagne while dining on exquisite dishes served effortlessly by the multi award-winning staff. Executive Head Chef, Chris Allison and his team produce unforgettable flavour combinations using ingredients sourced from the finest Northumbrian suppliers.
