Hello all you lovely brides-to-be and welcome to any newly engaged ladies that have been spoilt over the festive season with a dazzling diamond! Our first post of the new year features London based bridal wear designer Sanyukta Shrestha as our label to love this spring.
Born in Nepal, Sanyukta is an award-winning bridal designer with a difference, all of her gowns are ethically handmade using natural and environmentally firendly fabrics. But this isn't some sort of wierd hippy bride collection - yes some of the dresses are made of hemp, but trust us, they look like high end couture.
A London College of Fashion graduate, Sanyukta worked in the bridal industry in the UK for five years before setting up her very own label. She has brought the fresh breath of air to the British bridal industry with her ethereal and simple dresses that can be styled to suit every bride.
Sanyukta’s collection aims to create a new vision - one that combines an eco-friendly approach with the exclusivity and hand-crafted luxury expected of a couture bridal label. The natural fibres for the dresses, hats and accessories - including soft hemp silk, bamboo, wild nettle, wild hemp, organic silk, soya, banana and 100% organic & fair-traded cotton are hand loomed in Nepal. The fabric is then sent to the UK to be handmade in to the finished design.

If you are an eco-conscious bride, or just love the completely unique feel to the collection then you should visit www.sanyuktashrestha.com for more information.
