A North East art gallery, previously shortlisted as one of the UK’s best city venues, is inviting brides and grooms-to-be along to its first wedding open day of 2018. The Biscuit Factory – an independent art, craft and design gallery in the Ouseburn Valley - hosts its wedding open day on Saturday 10 March, 12pm – 3pm.
Couples can explore the gallery’s dedicated events space, The Biscuit Room set up for a ceremony and reception. This purpose-built function room is one of the largest in the city, accommodating up to 250 seated guests for a meal and party. The main gallery is also licensed for ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 120 guests and is a truly unique space to say your vows.

Throughout the afternoon of the Wedding Open Day, guests can enjoy a selection of canapés and ice cream from the venue’s in-house catering team accompanied by complimentary fizz. The Biscuit Factory’s events team will be on-hand to talk to guests, one-to-one, about the venue’s unique portfolio of services, The Wedding Collection, which encompasses everything from exclusive hire of The Biscuit Room to a specially designed three-course wedding breakfast menu.
Attendees can also browse the gallery's pop up jewellery boutique in The Biscuit Room, featuring one-off pieces of handmade jewellery. Plus, couples looking to tie the knot this year or in 2019 can also take advantage of an exclusive 10% off when booking for a minimum of 80 guests*.
