One Way Grooms Can Get Involved With Wedding Planning
Is your groom a willing wedding planner, or does he prefer to take a back seat and let you make all the decisions? No matter the answer, we’ve got the ultimate gentleman’s guide to weddings that allows your other half to make some #wedmin decisions with ease.
Introducing Well Groomed. Recently launched, Well Groomed is a brand new gentleman’s website that takes the stress out of wedding planning, offering tips and advice for grooms, alongside stylish wedding gifts. Its online store offers an extensive range of products, from must-have wedding day essentials to dapper accessories.
Well Groomed was an idea that came about when owners, husband and wife team, Zoe and Barry Cunningham, from Galway Ireland, were planning their own wedding. “We got married in the UK in 2015 and found that there is very little information out there for grooms wanting to help plan their wedding.

“In days gone by it was traditional for the bride’s parents to pay for the wedding, so the men had very little input into ‘The Big Day’. However, nearly half of couples are now choosing to fund the wedding themselves, but men have still been left behind in the planning.
“This is not helped by the fact that most wedding websites are still purely geared towards the bride and her bridal party, with pink accessories, flowers and make-up tips. It got us asking, ‘what about the other half of the equation? What about the lads?’"
And so the couple launched Well Groomed in July 2018.
“We aim to educate men to help them become confident, stylish and well-groomed grooms, proactive in helping to plan the wedding and starting off as they mean to go on by impressing their partner.
“Well Groomed’s popular blog, A Gentleman’s Guide to Weddings, covers every subject imaginable, from choosing the perfect ring and how to pop the question, right through to ensuring you haven't forgotten any essentials when heading off on honeymoon.”

Its online store offers a range of stylish men’s accessories to ensure the groom’s party look their best on the big day. Plus, best man and groomsmen gifts, everything from personalised hip flasks to cufflinks and pocket squares.
Well Groomed also makes a donation to men’s health charities every time a product is sold on its site. “The Well Groomed stores in both Ireland and the UK will donate £1/€1 from every product sold to support men's health charities, covering mental health, suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer.

To celebrate the launch of its UK site, Well Groomed is offering Belle Bridal readers 10% off their first order with the discount code ‘10BELLE02’. Discount code must be used at checkout and cannot be added or refunded once order has been placed. Offer expires 28th February 2019.
