In chromology (the psychology of colour), pink has a hugely positive effect on our mood and emotions, evoking feelings of romance, love, affection and calm. It is a symbol of feminism and is regarded as a very powerful colour, showing a strong but softer side than its close sister – the more dangerous and seductive red.
MY TOP TIP…
Mix up the depth of shades. Use both warm and cool tones together and focus on one or two areas rather than co-ordinating the whole face. This way you’ll get a much more modern and timeless look, rather than a total retro flashback!
