From starting the business in January 2020 before the pandemic hit, to navigating her way through the choppy waters that Covid brought, she has developed a determination to bounce back and offer brides a luxury, hard-to-beat service when they return.

Tell us how your love of bridal started and your journey to opening your boutique…

I have always had a love for fashion and I’ve been obsessed with wedding dresses for as long as I can remember.

It was always a dream to open a boutique, and last January I did it! It’s been a rollercoaster to say the least – it was our 1st birthday on the 4th January 2021.

I just can’t wait to get back to doing what I do best... making brides dreams come true.

Tell us about your collections

They are unique! We are the only North East Stockist for Dando London (well known from Say Yes to The Dress), and our Riki Dalal collection is just outstanding.

If a bride is looking for insane details, sparkle and lace on their wedding dress, you can guarantee they’ll find it with a Dalal dress.

We have more classic designs from the Modeca collection, offering something a little different to the other designers in the boutique.

Then we have the beautiful north east designer Kate Fearnley – as soon as I saw her collection I fell in love. The floral details on the dresses, the veils and the shoes to match... what’s not to love!

What’s new for 2021?

We have had a make over in the boutique, and we have the new 2021 Dando London Pure Collection arriving, which are all absolutely insane!

Tell us a little about the service a bride receives from you?

We are all about the experience. We want our brides to remember their time with us forever.

The boutique is theirs for the full two-hour appointment, so my focus is completely on them.

What inspires you every day?

My brides. Especially through covid they have dealt with it amazing, and they certainly motivate me everyday. We can’t wait to welcome them back!
