The Greek Wedding Company brings luxury wedding planning to Kos, combining ultra high-end service with the laid-back rustic Greek hospitality that everyone loves. We don’t compromise on quality and memorable weddings are our forte, combined of course, with infamous Greek hospitality.

TGWC is the new sister brand of Weddings in Kos, our planning company that started way back in 2007 and the premier choice for couples marrying on this Greek island in the South Aegean. Bespoke weddings are our speciality, and they bring to the table local knowledge, expert advice, consultation, and the most polished planning service. Our ethos at Weddings in Kos is based on our core values of nurturing all of our couples. From the first enquiry we act as your destination concierge, after all, this is a high end luxury destination and we offer all the fringe benefits you’d expect.
How do you choose the suppliers you work with?
The suppliers we work with today have been brought together through extensive experience. We know what works, who we can rely on, which ideas are feasible, and although we have dropped some suppliers and venues off our radar over the years - for various reasons - these decisions have brought us to this point of having an absolute quality and team cohesion.
Talk us through the process from consultation to wedding bliss…
You want to get married abroad, so you Google 'destination weddings'. We do the rest from the brief you give us. We use our expertise to source everything on your moodboard with flair. You settle into the incredible accommodation and get into holiday mode before the big day. Then it's time to deliver the ceremony and reception of your dreams, with lots of Greek dancing (and maybe even a little plate smashing!)
Why is the location for Weddings in Kos so special?
Although Kos is a relatively small island, it has so much to offer. Kilometres of sandy beaches, the crystal clear Aegean sea and so much culture and history. Kos was the birth place of Hippocrates and modern medicine, as well as having a very varied story of various occupations throughout time, including Italian and Turkish.
Volcanic bubbles in the sea are the norm, hidden forests with peacock colonies and a natural salt lake that is home to flamingos are the flourishes nature affords us and we can pass onto our couples. Mountain villages and sleepy fishing coves provide picture-perfect backdrops. Ancient ruins sit beside modern coffee shops. It boasts the most varied range of cuisines - but best of all - Kos has multitudes of traditional, authentic Greek offerings around every corner. Kos retains its local charm whilst still appealing to visitors who want some modern luxury – which is the whole concept of TGWC.
