When it comes to bridal fashion, Northern brides are writing their own rules. Taking inspiration from their personal style, Instagram feeds, bridal blogs and the pretty pages of our regional glossy, brides are crafting their own bridal look (and totally owning it too!) Today, we have something to inspire the cool and free-spirited bride – a gorgeous photoshoot filled with bohemian bridal style for the alternative bride.
This stunning styled photoshoot was captured by a super talented #Yorkshire photographer, Agnes Black, and is sure to stir your creativity and inspire you to create a bridal look that reflects your personality, as well as the theme for your wedding day.
Agnes says: “I wanted to do a super simple shoot. Something editorial, showcasing bridal beauty and style, inspired by both stillness and movement.
“Laura created a textured hair and a dewy face, enhancing Kayleigh’s natural beauty with simple hand tied flowers from Agnes & Bee as not to distract, but to complement the shoot.
“Paired with STUNNING vintage dresses layered with lace, sheer fabric and tulle from Sixpenny Bride on a stormy beach day. They were beautiful. Inspiring the eclectic bride. The shoot came together beautifully AND the results were unreal!”
The fabrics, the frills, the flowers – this shoot is totally giving us all the feels here at Belle Bridal. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this shoot – are you a bride crafting your own bridal day look? Are you a fan of the bohemian look?
