INTRODUCTION
Cake is always an essential, right? Baking for as long as she can remember, Hannah, the extraordinaire behind Botanical Cakes produces a vast range of baking goods, all infused with a rustic and bohemian flair, quite unlike anything else you’ll see on the market. A one for the nature lovers! With all products stemming from the natural and botanical world – it seemed obvious to put her two passions hand in hand, combining them to create the name Botanical Cakes. Boasting nature inspired vibes, local and naturally sourced products are an absolute must at Botanical Cakes, with gluten free and vegan
options also readily available for those with special dietary requirements. Identifiable not only by their delectable taste but too their distinctive design, couples will have the chance to discuss their vision in thorough detail, before allowing the team to work their magic and deliver the most important part of their special day – the cake of course! Where it all Began: From initially finding her love of baking in her family kitchen, helping her mum make fairy cakes and flapjacks, Hannah went on to working in a bakery where she found her passion was to create bespoke wedding and occasion cakes.
After continuing her baking on the other side of the globe in Tanzania, on Hannah’s return she went to London and studied at Le Cordon Bleu, graduating with a patisserie Diploma.
Almost everything that goes into my baked goods, come from botanical products, whether it’s chocolate or fruit, nuts or spices, I also love to use a lot of beautiful flowers and foliage – fresh, dried and pressed.
Even the cows and chickens who kindly produce the eggs, milk and butter, all depend on the grain, wheat, grass and even seaweed.

I then progressed to work in a couple of different Michelin-star restaurants as a patisserie chef, making anything and everything, from lemon curd tarts to sumptuous soufflés.
