INTRODUCTION
Opening in 2016, MÉIA is a Northumberland-based beauty studio that is fast becoming one of the North’s biggest beauty go-to’s for the modern bride and her tribe. With a four-stylist team, they travel out to wedding venues across the North East and Yorkshire to deliver luxury, detailed hair and makeup services influenced by the latest trends.
Be it an up do with a difference, gorgeous Hollywood waves or the most flawless face possible for your special moment, MÉIA have it covered. Their team of fully trained stylists with decades of experience strive to go above and beyond with a simple approach – to get you looking and feeling the best you ever have, with a professional, fun service and the most premium products.
Having worked as a freelance hair and makeup artist for a number of years, owner Georgia is the driving force behind the flawlessness. Her passion for hair and makeup artistry has led her down the path of weddings, conducting bridal trials in the studio to ensure they perfect the style and look, before making a bride and her tribe’s dreams come true.

Based in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, MÉIA’s luxury new salon has been open for seven years and draws glam-seekers from near and a far for their exemplary service and blissful setting. The space is naturally lit with skylights and boasts four hair and makeup stations with views across the countryside, all while offering a range of services including cutting, styling, colouring, makeup and full wedding packages - using the most premium products, tools and brands.

CLAIM HERETRIALS
All brides receive one trial date free of charge within their package – any extra trials incur an additional cost. Taking place in their beautiful salon and lasting around an hour, it’s the ideal opportunity to perfect your hair and/or makeup look, leaving fully aware of the format and timings for the day and relaxed that your glam is in the best hands possible.
The MÉIA team encourage brides to book their trial 3-4 months prior to the wedding, and that you come prepared with inspo photographs, any accessories and your veil.
