Perched high atop one of Sunderland's most beautiful buildings, Mackies Corner, Soul Bride is a brand new boutique with an edge. The vibe is personal and the atmosphere is relaxed chic, with indie music coarsing through the speakers, natural sunlight pouring in and one-of-a-kind designs on the rails.
If you want a bridal experience that's more of a meeting with a mate with the added luxury of expert styling advice, bespoke alterations, beautiful interiors and a drink (or two!), make your way here. Owner Gemma defines passion and personability, and has a dedication to helping every bride become their best, happy selves.
Soul Bride provides alternative wedding dresses that dig deeper than the gown itself, they are made to show off the authentic you on your big day; from your vibes, personality and unique character right down to your soul – hence the name. Located in Sunderland in CO.LLECTIVE –a new urban workspace in Mackies Corner, a stunning Grade II listed building overlooking the city centre, Gemma has curated a cosy, relaxing space that oozes originality from the natural clippings and branches to the chic, scandi-style furniture. Every corner of this studio is cool and doesn't follow a trend, it's straight from the brain of Gemma and is designed to relax and reassure brides that they're in the right place, to find a dress that's right for them.

You want to look your best and feel your best on your big day, Soul Bride have got you babe. With intricate detail and patterns using some of the finest laces and chiffons that are ethically sourced (#GREENQUEENS) that come together to create gowns that are a bit of you. With an inherent passion for bridal, she already has a floristry business, Gemma draws upon the latest trends to create peices that are unique to the wearer – each with their own distinctive design elements and luxury fabrics.
