Established in 2012 by husband-and-wife team James and Rachel Calvert – founders of the successful wedding transport company, Love Dub Cars – TipiChic was inspired by the pair’s love of the great outdoors. With the desire to provide country-loving couples with a truly spectacular – and affordable –

The event hire business serves the whole north-east region from its base near Darlington and with a strong network of regional venues and fellow suppliers, this team are well-placed to deliver the wedfest of your dreams. Whether you want one tent for a more intimate sit-down meal, two to fit in a bar and dancefloor, or a whole network of four tipis to accommodate all of the above for up 240 guests, as well as a stage and fire pit, you’re going to want to make the blank canvas (pun wholly intended) your own.
Luckily, TipiChic can take care of the fundamentals, including flooring, tables, seating, mood lighting and the aforementioned fire pit (no recoupling allowed).
Alongside any fairy lights, pine tables, benches, sofas and heaters you might need, team TC can provide extra trimmings, such as bunting, props, candles and vases. This is a real collaboration, so don’t be afraid to get all the mood boards out.
