True To You Celebrancy
INTRODUCTION
True to You is a multiple award-winning Yorkshire Celebrant.
Deborah creates inclusive ceremonies for people of all faiths and of none.
Voted National Celebrant of the Year 2021and Celebrant of The Year for Yorkshire and The North East 2021 by both her couples and wedding industry peers, Deborah’s credentials speak for themselves.
Deborah’s ceremonies are crafted with her couples, for her couples.
Listening to your individual stories, Deborah is curious about your journey, bringing it together into one heartfelt, truly unique and memorable ceremony.
Having travelled extensively from 1999, her 2 years spent working as mental health nurse in New Zealand, was a time of great personal and professional growth for Deborah and ultimately was when she was struck by the power and impact of symbolism.
Belle Loves
This experience led to her studying systematic family therapy on her return to the UK, where she began to consider in great depth the emotional impact of these transitional points in life.
This is something which now underpins all her work as both a celebrant but also as a nurse.

As a civil celebrant, I believe that love is love. I am Deborah. A listener, a translator of life stories, a narrator, and a performer of ceremony.

REVIEWS
Deborah has gone above and beyond for us. She's been a bit of a rock, offering stability with great alternatives and solutions to the inevitable calamities and set backs that befall any couple on the lead up to their big day (even though our particular set back has been a pandemic). She has gone out of her way to get to know us and our family and has not only become part of our love story but a good friend! We can't thank her enough for the "would be/ should be wed" ceremony she created for us. It helped us mark the day perfectly and turned a bump in the road into a memorable landmark on or journey. Thanks again Deborah!

Deborah has been such a delight to work with. We are so lucky our paths crossed and it just felt so right to have her conduct our wedding ceremony. She has been a positive beam of light since I was fortunate enough to find her. If you dream of a unique and personal ceromony that shines through exactly who you are as a couple, then Deborah’s your lady!
