Love Blossoms At The Botanist

The Botanist

Help is at hand for hopeless romantics this Valentine’s Day at a city centre hotspot. From the ultimate date night to loved-up couples marking many years together, The Botanist has it covered.

The Monument Mall bar and restaurant is offering a unique proposal concierge service for a limited time only to make popping the question a spectacular occasion, not to be forgotten.

On request, a cupid will be assigned to prospective partners to sprinkle some fairy dust on plans for the special moment – from arranging exclusive access to the roof garden to get down on one knee under the stars to organising a professional photographer to capture it all. You can even arrive in celebrity style with a limousine collection and drop-off at the door!

If you’re a fan of the ring in the dessert cliché, indulge in the white chocolate and peanut butter mousse complete with strawberries and edible petals.

For a more understated approach or you’re not quite ready for the next step but still looking to impress, simply add a bouquet of flowers onto your booking, which can be waiting at the table or presented at the perfect point of the evening.

Fillet steak will be on offer, in addition to the a la carte menu on Tuesday for lunch or dinner at £24.95. Tipple-wise, try the one-off cocktail created by group head bartender Nick Whitby – a raspberry and rose Bellini aptly-named The Matchmaker, available from 10-14 February.

For those against the idea of raising a glass to St. Valentine, opt for an anti-Valentine’s package including cocktail making or ale-tasting masterclasses and ladies celebrating Galentine’s can enjoy live music every night of the week for catch ups over a bottle of wine or two. The private dining room can also be booked for larger parties up to 12 guests.
