Master Debonair Have Won A Drapers Independents Award

Master Debonair won Best New Business in the Drapers Independents Awards 2017 and was praised by the Drapers’ expert judging panel. Founded by Simon and Eve Whitaker in 2016, Master Debonair is a menswear company with a rebellious spirit and humble attitude.

The judges from the panel said: “This business was set up to fill a gap in the market for smart men’s accessories and clothing. It is a very impressive business and its location makes it a true destination store.”

Simon and Eve believe that shopping at Master Debonair should be an enjoyable experience, so everything at the store, which is in East Boldon, is based on customer’s needs and helping men feel good about themselves, whatever their size, shape or budget.

Simon, founder of Master Debonair said: “We are delighted and very humbled to receive this award and we didn’t expect it at all. I cannot thank our amazing team and our wonderful customers enough. The winners of the Drapers Independents Awards 2017 were revealed at a glamorous ceremony at The Brewery, London, where the fashion industry elite came together for an afternoon of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievements.

With 15 targeted categories, the awards cover every aspect of the independent fashion industry, from Best Store Design to Lifestyle Independent of the Year.

The Drapers Independents Awards are the most applauded and relevant awards in the fashion independent sector. The awards provide industry recognition and unrivalled networking opportunities.
