SUMMER FASHION EDIT
Emily came to me about doing a shoot in Palma and it was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss out on. I always want to showcase something fresh and new from my previous work and in this case I wanted to capture the essence of a summer elopement.
GO SHORT
For the first couple Charlotte & Sandro, I dressed Charlotte in a range of short styled dresses that I feel are perfect for the summer runaway wedding vibe. I wanted to create looks that were fun and flirty, fit for the summer weather.
The Bow Dress
The highlight of this dress in the huge oversized bow and trailing ribbon. This dress is made from mikado and the skirt is structured with darks to create more of a bell shape.
The Ruffled Pearled Mini Dress
A fun and flirty mini dress made from taffeta. Super lightweight dress perfect to stow away in your luggage. Ruffle detailing adorned with a scatter of pearls.
The Glitter Skater Dress
This piece is from my first collection of bridal dresses. It is made from glitter tulle, georgette and silk satin to create the playful and flowing drapery.
LENGTHY LOOKS
With the second couple Lilla & Peter, I created floor-length dresses for Lilla as we wanted to capture a different vibe and I took inspirations from the couple's lifestyle.
The Organza Lace Gown
The bodice is made with a tulle base with boning to provide structure, and decorated with lace appliqués. The skirt has a half circle organza overskirt decorated with the same lace as the top, and features a duchess satin underskirt.
The Boho Inspired Tassel Dress
Made from soft satin to achieve a relaxed fit, it features a gathered skirt with key detailing being the hassle lace trim that is highlighted on the cuff, waist and hem of the dress. The neckline is a deep V cut with a beaded lace up front.
OFF-THE-CUFF
Lauren & Jake were our last couple. We were having dinner at a nearby hotel cafe and spontaneously decided to push ourselves to do one more shoot at the beach at sunrise before catching our flights home.
The dress I used for Lauren is the same boho dress we used earlier in the day, only that I up-cycled it by removing the sleeves, creating arm bands, altering the neckline, and creating an open slip front on the skirt.
