The Stardust gown by Eliza Jane Howell prompted the idea for this modern photoshoot - Celestial She - that and our love of all things celestial.

THE LOCATION

We wanted a location that was as fresh, new and exciting as the gowns we were shooting, which is why we chose The Fig House at Middleton Lodge. Middleton Lodge is a stunning countryside estate, already renowned for its beautiful weddings. It has recently expanded to offer couples a new wedding space known as The Fig House. Overlooking landscaped gardens, The Fig House is a versatile venue that blends an almost industrial beauty with contemporary design, providing the perfect blank canvas for this photoshoot.

THE LOOK

“The inspiration behind the Middleton Lodge look was a golden goddess Grecian vibe with festival feels – dewy bronzed peachy skin, molten rich golds and deep espresso brown kohl smudged into the lash line to make eyes the key focus. This is one of the best bridal make-up styles if you want your look to be mesmerising on the day without looking OTT,” Amanda Bell, Make-Up Artist

Creative, alternative and completely unique, Jade has a natural flair for capturing contemporary images in her own artistic manner. “The Fig House remains my favourite venue in North Yorkshire; the wall textures and the light are always so dreamy and interesting to shoot in. Every time I go I see something different.
