Photographer, Natalie Hamilton, shares with us the concept behind this styled shoot, and how each aspect played a role in making this editorial utterly perfect. "This editorial was shot on a crisp, clear autumn day in October at Birdsall House – a beautiful 16th Century, English country home nestled majestically in an open valley. The inspiration behind this photoshoot was to show the changing of seasons from autumn to winter. The aim of the day was simple: to gather some of the best local suppliers and create a beautiful, inspiring fashion and styling editorial utilising each of their skills, captured in my signature documentary style photography."

"The styling by Ambience Venue Styling brought the vision to life with a combination of textures and reflective elements, all in a burgundy, white and silver colour palette. We went with lots of candle light for that wintery feel paired with soft crushed velvet, white linen, silver dipped pine cones and lots of glass ware. The floral arrangements by Once Upon A Thyme also displayed an abundance of textures with winter detailing such as thistles and berries contrasting against soft pampas grass and pussy willow."

"To complement the dreamy tablescape, Grey Starling designs created bespoke calligraphy stationery with watercolour details, adding beautiful texture with touches of silver leaf to the edges."

"Where The Ribbon Ends added the final touches to the tablescape with their romantic cookie favours in a similar style to the stationary. They also made the two sumptuous cakes on display. The first cake had a burgundy bottom tier with a hand painted delicate floral illustration climbing up the two top tears. The second cake had a water colour affect applied to the bottom tier and silver leaf to the edges. Both cakes featured intricate sugar work floral details along and sat fabulously in a floral wreath tying in with the styling."

"Our modern, Liv wore two dresses from The Little Pearl Bridal Boutique. The first was a beautiful ballgown with a deep neckline and long train. The second gown featured a rich lace patten, full length sleeves and a remarkably body flattering fish tail shape. The boutique also supplied the burgundy bridesmaids dresses. Katie modelled a stunning sheath dress with high neckline and low cowl back and Tina modelled a classic sophisticated V-neck chiffon dress both by the designer Sorella Vita."

"Our singer/song writer groom model was Steven Lindsay Music, who was styled by Dandy Threads. He wore a sleek silver grey suit with tweed waistcoat. For a pop of colour and a cosy winter feel, a lambswool scarf and velvet bow tie finished the look perfectly."

"The make-up and hair styles were created by Michaela Love. For the maids we went with natural, English rose soft make-up paired with a romantic loose up-do. For the bride we went with soft skin, a subtle warm smokey eye and a bold burgundy lip. Michaela created two looks for the brides hair to suit the dress. The first was a glamorous deep wave to one side and for the fish tail gown a sleek chignon pin up with hair vine supplied by The Little Pearl Boutique."
