Bring me a Higher Love...
While big, beautiful weddings are back, the slowing, stepping back and appreciation for simplicity that the pandemic demanded from us all has meant intimate elopements are still a trend that shows no signs of slowing. Connecting with your beau, hill top, overlooking the magnificent rolling landscape of the Peak District – could there be a more romantic setting for a meaningful marriage? These images certainly suggest not.
Organised and photographed by Pasha Jansen, and featuring a gorgeous gown from Guest List Derbyshire boutique Charlotte Elizabeth Bridal, this shoot proves that sometimes, just sometimes, less is more.
Beauty of Bamford
The shoot took place on Bamford Edge, an overhang of gritstone rock that overlooks the village of Bamford in the Hope Valley. The views? Worth the hike.
“The Peak District is so incredible and I shoot there every chance I get. One of my favourite spots is Bamford Edge, and I'd never done a styled shoot there so I knew I had to plan something. It’s the perfect elopement spot.” – Pasha
Set against this rural romantic backdrop was a minimalist setup of all things pretty. Fabulous florals boasting bunny tails, deep burgundy and pink roses, soft yet noteworthy glam and an incredibly photogenic couple.

I WANTED TO CREATE A BEAUTIFUL STATEMENT AGAINST SUCH A MINIMAL WEDDING SETUP.

Get the Luxe:
Fashion came from Charlotte Elizabeth Bridal – not a surprise given the amount of luxe-heavy, swoon-worthy gowns that grace this boutique – who provided an ethereal off-the-shoulder gown from Allure Bridals. The perfect centrepiece for this natural nuptial love-in.
