Golden Glow...

An exploratory narrative of wedding hotspots at an award-winning wedding venue that boasts a Santorini-esque ceremonial space, The Olive house; a light festooned Orangery, a Mediterrean style courtyard, secret bar and ambient garden tipis. Just a tad fantastic. Cue the cast…

Perfect Preparations

Swoon-worthy stationery was the underpinning of this shoot’s modern luxe vibe. Dusty pinks and teals create a perfect pretty paper suite just begging to be photographed. Bessies Room is one of Woodhill’s 16 characterful bedrooms. Individually designed, with floral installations and ultra-feminine furnishings, it’s the ideal spot for a bride and her tribe to get glam.

Sweetness came in the form of delicate little cake pops finished with neutral mini bunny tails and pretty white ribbon, as well as decorative biscuits and cupcakes. But these were just a pre-requisite to the main event – a four-tiered white cake with grandeur golden detailing and dried blooms, tying in with the rustic luxe theme seamlessly.

Olive You

Now this isn’t your average white wedding. Woodhill’s brand new ceremonial space The Olive House is a white-washed room with accents of blue and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the rolling countryside. It’s fresh, modern, and magical. The ultimate aisle style with added Santorini-esque elegance.

Luxe Details

A beaded headband and veil from Botias added understated glamour, paired with beautiful natural makeup and hair and a beautiful off-the-shoulder showstopper from Y.A.P. Bridal. For the groom, a stylish trad tux from Master Debonair equally worked wonders for this fresh contemporary look. After the ceremony comes the celebration – and there’s no space quite as fitting than Woodhill’s stunning light-soaked orangery.

Fronds of palms and pampas from styling gurus Muscari Events created an earthy feel while an outfit switch up afforded a more free-spirited, boho look for our bride – courtesy of Newcastle boutique Sisters of Grace. Orange, rust and taupe hues were the perfect compliment to this light and white space, foregrounded with a quite spectacular lofted dried bloom centrepiece.
