The Venue:

The magical wooded ravine of Brinkburn in Northumberland was the luxurious setting for this styled shoot.

The beautiful 12th Century Priory and Manor House is the perfect backdrop for an elegant wedding.

A collection of Creative Stylists and Designers came together for this shoot, including passionate and talented Photographer Katy Melling.

Photography:

Katy Melling is a Newcastle based fine Art Wedding photographer, with more than fifteen years wedding photography experience. Collaborating with photographer Helen Russell, both used natural lighting on a warm summers day, for that romantic and airy feel.

Perfectly captured photographs made the entire shoot seem flawless, featuring every detail to precision, from the gown to the florals.

Flowers:

Great British Bash Events dressed the venue with stunning flowers from the selected natural colour palette. Sticking to the elegant theme, the venue was decorated in whimsical greenery and large country garden blooms, wowing the camera with pastel colours and grand ferns. While Lavenders Blue provided the bride's beautiful bouquet.

These were complimented by Great British Bash’s silk flowers across the venue. Their Tattersall Collection was displayed in the Priory and their Aspen Collection in the Manor House.

Gowns:

The first dress was a double keyhole open back with intricate detailing and traditional lace.

The contrasting gown was an off the shoulder number, with an A-line silhouette and beautiful buttons running down the entire back. Subtle lace ties in the elegant theme and the other dress, linking the looks together as one.

Hair and Make-up:

Model, Grace Edingturn worked the venue and the dresses as if it were her real wedding. With fair hair and delicate features, she was the ideal Bride for this timeless shoot.

Hair and make up was created by MEIA. Georgia opted for a half up half down hair-do.  Grace has a blonde long bob, which worked extremely well with showing off the back detail of the dresses. Her hair was twisted back with braids, defined with loose curls and accessorised with small white flowers.

After perfecting Grace’s hair, Georgia then painted the model’s face. A subtle bridal glam was the clear option for this shoot, with an extra touch of sparkle using GLOW by Katie Daley.

Overall, this shoot was incredibly successful. It showcased exactly Brinkburn had to offer; an elegant Summer’s day Wedding, luxurious and magical.
