Captured in the 13th century Medieval Hall and English country gardens, Crook Hall in Durham City Centre played host to this medieval magic styled photoshoot. With its idyllic setting throughout all seasons the uniquely beautiful house with stunning gardens is set over six acres. Crook Hall Gardens is the perfect setting to say “I do”, providing the most incredible backdrop for this stunning sophisticated shoot.

Style Me Pretty:

The stunning Medieval Manor house is one of the oldest inhabited houses in Durham City Centre, home to the Bell Family since 1995, built circa 1217.

The shoot was styled to perfection in keeping with the medieval theme, with floral creativity from Emlou Flowers and gowns provided by bridal shop owner Danielle Kerr, of D&S Bridal Club based in Darlington.

The team adapted colours of deep reds, burgundy, whites and golds, along with candles to enhance the beautiful setting within the house.

Fashion Focus:

The groom was styled in a variety of Master Debonair 3-piece check tweed style suits, while Rosie Hill MUA created an elegant soft glam bridal look, with Connie Hairdressing completing the look with a perfect loose curl.

Attention to Detail:

Amanda from Fairyhill Cakes matched the 4-tiered bold wedding cake to the medieval styling with deep red, greenery, rich gold and neutral colours whilst finishing off the design with a delicate hand painted floral detailing giving it that extra touch of luxury.

Flowers in Bloom:

The floral designs created by Emlou Flowers were effortlessly stylish, filled with romance and charm to tie in with the décor of such an exceptional venue.
