The Providence Cotton Mill in Miden, NC was the location for this pretty in pastel shoot directed by The Milk & Honey Collective.
Nestled on the outskirts of Maiden, NC, this venue provided an old-world charm with an inviting romantic feel.
Surrounded by green fields and a plush forest, the 130 year-old, two-story building features a soaring ceiling, allowing sunlight to stream in through the arched, open windows.

#GOWNGOALS:
With three stunning brides modelling gowns from the Hitched Boutique, two dreamy pastel gowns from Andrea & Leo Couture, and a traditional white gown with a modern and elegant twist from Enchanting by Mon Cheri, this exhibition was a toned-down, dress-lovers dream.

The beautiful gown worn by the bride of the groom is a new Meagan Kelly Designs vision to behold – an amazing local designer that Christina, the genius behind the lens (The Shutter Own Photography), has been fortunate to work with for her own gown needs.

Natural Nuptial:
The Providence Cotton Mill was the perfect place for the artistic team’s imaginations to run wild.
With open air windows and high ceilings, together with a natural, untouched feel, the venue acted as a blank canvas on which the shoot could truly come into its own.

Beautiful blush florals climbed the exposed brick walls as the bride and groom models displayed an authentic connection, conveying a true sense of stylistic calm.
Festoon lighting was used to create an atmospheric rustic romance, while dark statement planters, old oak double doors and beautiful traditional armchairs conveyed an understated sophistication.

BELLE LOVES:
The gorgeous wooden door and wild greenery growing up the walls of the front entrance. Photos taken here almost always leave the viewer picking their jaws up again!

Supplier Love:
“The incredible vendors who make up the Milk and Honey Collective, like Kelly Williams of A Bushel and a Peck Vintage Rentals and Design, always put on the most magnificent styled wedding shoots. This workshop was nothing short of what I would have expected from them.” – Christina
Pretty in Pastel:
The pastel blues, lilacs and pinks provided the perfect contrast against the warmth of this majestic venue.
Santara Flowers and Thistle & Twig Flowers combined to create the most idyllic, neutral floral displays, from the blush-toned table centrepieces to the gorgeous bridal bouquet.

Perhaps the pèice de résistance when it came to pretty pastels, though, were the beautiful table settings.

Marble-coated ‘unicorn oreos’ from Swirl and a minimalistic cake from Celestial Cakery brought all the sweet, sweet style, while gorgeous stationery from Jessica Isaacs and Abby Lynne Art created a wonderful whimsical feel with pastel tones at its core.
