Rich berry reds twinned with the most decadent of golden touches. Today we are setting the blog on fire with this mesmerising styled shoot from a fabulous group of Yorkshire creatives at luxury wedspot Wharfedale Grange.

 

The Location

Situated in the heart of beautiful Yorkshire, Wharfedale Grange is the ultimate wedding destination. A marriage of luxury and modernism, this stunning venue offers the ultimate wedding retreat to those wanting just that little bit extra. The venue offers a bridal preparation suite and gossip room, stunning ceremony room and even a secret Prosecco tap!

 

The Styling

To complement the drama of the surroundings and aesthetic of the venue, purples, lavender, berry hues and lush green foliage dominated the colour palette with gold cutlery, coloured glassware and elegant calligraphy menus. The addition of cool neon ‘wings’ added a modernistic and fun touch to the styling. A festoon installation brought extra ambience for to this truly beautiful tablescape.

White cakes added a lightness, yet continued the chosen colour palette beautifully with sugar floral adornments in berry and Cadbury purple hues. The fun element came once again in the form of a doughnut wall sporting the glazed rings.

A scattering of hand-painted macarons finished the setting perfectly.
 

The Gowns

Heavily embellished, modern gowns brought a further air of decadence, with silver headpieces to bring an added sparkle to proceedings.

 

Beauty

Berry lips and flawless skin gave a Hollywood glamour look and hair was kept loose in tumbling curls to frame the face.
