LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Seeking a spring celebration, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Keris and Peter had their sights set firmly on the four star Clarion Hotel. A contemporary space with facilities aplenty, beautiful rooms and outside areas, The Clarion was this couple’s first choice for its fresh aesthetic.

WE VIEWED A VARIETY OF VENUES, BUT NONE GAVE US THE INSTANT FLUTTER OF ‘YES, THIS IS THE ONE!’ THAT THE CLARION DID.

KERIS, THE BRIDE

ALL THE STYLE

Versatile and beautifully decorated to blend with any chosen theme, Keris and Peter were really able to make their mark in the space they were marking their love for each other. From the start Keris knew she wanted their venue to be a true reflection of her and her husband-to-be. Taking the chic, contemporary canvas the Clarion delivered them, they transformed the ceremony and function suite into a Botanical haven, with blooms that embodied those that mean the most to them.

FLORAL DREAMS

Guest List floral faves Wild and Wonderful transformed the Clarion’s suites into a sea of roses, lilies (to represent their daughters), peonies and carnations – Keris’ mother and nana’s favourite flower. Magic and meaningful, these floral fanatics really showed their petal.

PHOTOGRAPHER FATE

Having met over a sun lounger (and hopefully a cocktail or two!) in the Dominican Republic 10 years ago, Keris had made friends with Joanne Maggiore Photography, however like most holiday romances this friendship had fizzled out. That was until she unknowingly began looking after Joanne’s son six years later at Kindergarten. No sooner had Keris said yes to Peter, she booked in with Joanne to have her capture her day.

Once they’d said their I do’s, the couple and their entourage stepped out into the gorgeous gardens of The Clarion, complete with its beautifully natural setting and love chair – the perfect spot for a photo op.
