We love a wedding at Acklam Hall and today’s celebration is a simple, but stylish affair topped with a neutral palette of pretty. Donna and Peter wanted a setting that had all the right vibes, such as contemporary backdrops, fantastic food and a relaxing atmosphere. Lucky for them Acklam Hall ticked all the right boxes.

“We had a look at Acklam Hall first as it had recently opened and I had been with a friend and had some lovely food. Only one wedding had taken place when we booked. It had exactly the right vibe we were aiming with a relaxing atmosphere, great staff and great food.”

“We wanted a relaxing day where everyone could chill with plenty of food and drink. We wanted a fun day where we could catch up with everyone, as life can be busy especially with those not living in the region.” With this in mind, on August 25th 2018 Donna and Peter tied the knot in stunning setting of Acklam Hall surrounded by all their nearest and dearest.

Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Try to take time to enjoy your day as it goes so fast. Don’t get caught up in problems that you are not capable of resolving, as things have a way of working out and you will have a perfect day! We had the right professional people to assist with our day and I would highly recommend everyone that helped us have our dream day.”

What was your highlight of the day?
“The speeches from everyone were incredible. The brother of bride started followed by the bride, bridesmaids, best man and finally the groom. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, - it was a very emotional time.”
